A registered account gives you 24/7 access to real-time pricing and availability, order tracking, online payments, account-specific tools, and much more. Whether you’re managing day-to-day purchasing or overseeing multiple job sites, a Steiner web account streamlines your workflow and keeps your business moving.
1. Create an Account
- Access the 'Sign In' dropdown menu by hovering over the 'Sign In' icon in the header, then click the 'Create Account' button in the menu.
- Alternatively you can directly click the 'Sign In' icon in the header and then click the 'Create Account' button on the 'Sign In' page.
2. Choose YES or NO to be Aligned with an Existing Steiner Account
- Choosing 'YES' indicates that your place of business already has an existing Steiner account and offers you the benefit of accessing your account settings, customer pricing, and order history. You will be allowed to purchase either on your account or by credit card depending on the existing account settings.
- Fill in the required Contact, Billing and Shipping information by following the prompts.
- IMPORTANT: Customers will be required to provide an existing Account Number in the required form field.
- If you answered 'YES' to align with an existing account, after submitting the form, you will see the pop up message (pictured) to indicate Steiner has successfully received your request for access.
- Once Steiner has set up your web account you will receive an 'Activate Your Account' email. Within the activation email click the 'Activate Account' button. You will then be sent back to the the steinerelectric.com website where you will be prompted to create your password.
- Choosing 'NO' indicates that your place of business does not have an existing Steiner account and you wish to open a New Account that requires a Credit Card for all purchases.
- Fill in the required Contact, Billing and Shipping information by following the prompts.
- If you answered 'NO' to align with an existing account, you will see a pop up message (pictured) to indicate your Credit Card enabled account has been successfully created.
3. Forgot Username or Password
- If at anytime you have forgotten your Username, just hover over the 'Sign In' icon in the header and then hover over the 'Forgot Username' link for a reminder.
- If you forgot your Password, hover over the 'Sign In' icon in the header and then click the 'Forgot Password' link. In the popup window that renders, enter your Username and then click the 'Send Email' button. A password reset link will be emailed to you.
