Customer Part Numbers let you assign your own identifiers to products, making it easier to find and reorder items on the Steiner website.

Follow the steps below to create and manage your Customer Part Numbers.
1. Access Customer Part Numbers
- After logging into the website, the 'My Account' quick menu can be accessed by hovering over the ‘Person’ icon in the header. Click the ‘Edit Customer Part Number’ link from the menu to go to the 'Edit Customer Part Number' page.
- Alternatively, you can access Customer Part Numbers by clicking the ‘Edit Customer Part Number’ link in the lefthand navigation of the ‘My Account’ page.
2. View Existing Customer Part Numbers
- You can view, search, edit or delete your Customer Part Numbers from the 'Edit Customer Part Number' page after you assign them to specific products, which we'll walk through how to do next.
3. Create a Customer Part Number by First Searching for a Product
- After searching for a product, click on a search result listing to view its Product Detail Page, where a unique Customer Part Number can be created for that individual product.
4. Click 'Add Customer Part #' Button
- On the Product Detail Page, click the 'Add Customer Part #' button to reveal a popup field where you can enter your unique Customer Part Number.
5. Enter Your Customer Part Number and Click 'Add'
- Enter your unique Customer Part Number in the 'Customer Part #' field and then click the 'Add' button.
- After clicking the 'Add' button, your new Customer Part Number will appear on that Product Detail Page.
6. Find Product Using Customer Part Number
- After a Customer Part Number is added for a product, future searches can be performed using that Customer Part Number.
7. Edit Customer Part Numbers
- You can update or delete your Customer Part Numbers as needed.
- On the 'Edit Customer Part Number' page, click the 'Edit' link next to any Customer Part Number to make changes in the 'Your Part Number' field and then click the 'Update Part Number' button to complete the action.
- To Delete, click the 'Trash Can' icon next to any Customer Part Number to permanently remove it.
- Customer Part Numbers can also be edited from the Product Detail Page by first clicking the 'Pencil' icon next to the Customer Part Number, then making changes in the popup field and finally clicking the 'Update' button to complete the action.
Customer Part Numbers Appear on Relevant Documents: After a Customer Part Number is added to a product, you will see your Customer Part Number included with corresponding line items on all Steiner Quotes, Web Order Confirmations, Order Acknowledgements, Shipping Documents and Invoices.
