General Purpose Distribution Transformers
A transformer is an electrical device that converts AC voltage from one level to another through magnetic induction. It can step up or step-down voltages, has no moving parts, and offers reliable, long-lasting operation. In its basic form, it consists of insulated wire coils on a laminated steel core.
