O-Z/Gedney nonmetallic insulating bushings are used to protect wires and cables at entry and exit of threaded rigid conduit and IMC. O-Z/Gedney also has a plug to be used with metallic or nonmetallic bushings to prevent the entry of dirt or dust.

When the fitting is in place and the screws are tightened, the neoprene sealing ring is compressed between the metal plates and is forced against the inside wall of the conduit and also against the cable insulation to effect a complete seal at the conduit end |
