Kohler Generators Virtual Training June 2020

Current social distancing guidelines provide us unique and creative opportunities, such as hosting Virtual Training sessions for you and your team. On behalf of Steiner Power Systems, Kohler would like to invite you to “Let your Brain out of Quarantine”.

Kohler will be hosting complementary virtual training sessions on two highly educational topics in consecutive weeks. The first session is designed to form a foundation for the understanding of electrical generation basics. The second session will build on that foundational knowledge for a more advanced dive into codes and standards.

Session 1 –  GenSets101 (Natural Gas Vs. Diesel)

Date and Time –  June 17, 2020 @ 10AM to 11AM CST

Presentation discusses engine basics and compares natural gas and diesel generator sets. Discover the differences between lean burn and rich burn natural gas technologies. Lessons learned from this session will help guide you towards choosing the correct fuel type and best fuel solution for your projects and applications.

Session 2 –  Codes and Standards 2020

Date and Time –  June 24, 2020 @ 10AM to 11AM CST

Dive into the most recent updates from NEC 2017 and NEC 2020, as well as the more common code requirements for emergency standby generator set systems. Learn how these new codes and standards can effect your project plans.

The virtual training sessions will be live streamed using Microsoft Teams. If you do not have the Microsoft Teams application downloaded, you can still join via your browser (either Edge or Chrome).
