Scaffolding Power Cables and Transformers

To Our Supplier Community:

For the past week our leadership, as we are certain you are doing as well, has been reviewing a companywide process to protect the health of our team during this unprecedented, worldwide concern.

As we have all seen, the United States and other countries are erring on the side of being preventative vs reactive by sensibly learning from the virus controls measures taking place in China, Italy and other nations.

Everyday offers new information. The most obvious:

  • Avoid Close Contact with others
  • Wash Your Hands Often
  • Avoid Touching Your Face While in Public

As simple as this may sound, it is not easy to do. As such, effective on Monday March 16th, we are creating a working environment to proactively limit our exposure to the virus by restricting the number of individuals within every Steiner location. This will include suppliers, customers, service providers and employees.

We are requiring all our suppliers to limit your visits to appointment only for specific issues and opportunities that cannot be discussed effectively over the phone. At this point each Steiner location will be open in a manner that affords our employees the additional safety while providing quality service for our customers. This will provide some of our team the ability to work from home. Those of us who are working from within a Steiner facility are limited to those not considered high risk as described by the CDC. Both teams will be better off by having less people working around them.

We do not have an end date schedule, nor do we consider this a final strategy. We plan to remain proactive, flexible and respectful to our team, customers and suppliers.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.
